Celebrity Rocker Rick Wakeman Recounts Story of Autograph Hunter

Rick Wakeman is a guy who falls into the category of an old rocker, much in the same way you woudl consider ozzy osborne, eric clapton, mick jagger, you know the sort of guys i am going on about. well rick starred on a tv show here in the Uk called grumpy old men, which is basically a sounding off show where old people can moan about things in society that tick them off. the show is kind of funny, and to be fair rick wakeman was a great guy on there, he was funny and unique and i like the man, he was also a very talented musician. he is touring again now, and he was saying how hard he worked every day and how mcuh he loved it. i guess getting asked for all those autographs again begins to feel good and the celebity limelight begins to shine.

rick was also talking about a time he met a fan -

He recounts with evident pleasure an encounter with a young man in South America who asked him to autograph a vinyl record of "Six Wives."

Saying he was surprised to see the man listening to old music, he was immediately told that it may be old for him, but the autograph-seeker had only come across it a day or so earlier.

Wakeman now thinks of this at each performance. "There will always be someone who will hear it for the first time," he said.

David Oreck Vacuum Man Autograph on his product

you know that guy David Oreck ? well i am from the UK and they dont even sell oreck vacuum cleaners here in the UK but when i have visited the USA i have always seen adverts on the tv for oreck cleaners and like the guy that used to be seen on the braun adverts, this guy david oreck loves his own face on his advertisements too, so it comes a sno surprise that i came across this story in the Cleveland Daily Banner that tells us the full details of this story - read About David Oreck Autograph Here

as it turns out the aforementioned mr oreck, is signing his  product an oreck vacuum cleaner and placing it either in an auction or a raffle in order to raise funds, now thats a good cause and very worthwhile and i applaud mr oreck for being so kind as obviously it will do some good, but i think i would rather stick to collecting my celebrity autographs on photographs and pieces of paper rather than  trying to keep a vacuum cleaner in pristine condition.

West End Theatre Celebrity Autograph Difficulties

A lot of the West End  theatre stars are very dfficult when it comes to handing out autographs as they depart a theatre and therefore you can wast your time at the end of a performance that you have just attended with your programme in hand, rushing round the back of the theatre to get your favourite famous celebrity to maybe stop for 2 seconds so they can swiggle their signature with a pen placed in front of them and maybe sign that picture or programme  that you have kindly purchased and can they do that for you? no of course not!!! some of these idiots up their own arses don’t give autographs.  a lesson apparently unheeded by eight-times-a-week Connie Fisher whose ailments lead to the result of “signing autographs for 400 people out in the cold every night” arrrrrrghhh!
